Membership for the 2017-2018 school year has ended. We are busy planning for an exciting 2018-2019 school year and will re-open membership renewal and intake for new members sometime in late July. Please continue to check our website or email us with any questions.
2018-19 MEMBERSHIP WILL OPEN by August 1. Payment will be due September 1 for the 2018-19 year.
- Members must work out of their homes.
- Admissions must be the member's primary profession.
- Members' residences must be in the greater Chicago area.
- Members or their institutions must be members of either the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling or the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
This year’s dues for area representatives will be $250 (plus a small transaction fee for credit cards) for the principal (or only) member. In addition to being listed in CARR brochures, principal members are eligible to participate in the spring counselor luncheons and professional development activities. Supplemental members from the same institution will pay $150, $200, or $250 (credit card transactions will incur a small transaction fee), depending whether they plan to attend 1, 2, or 3 spring counselor receptions. Supplemental members have the same additional benefits as principal members.
CARR no longer offers a brochure-only membership option.

If your institution is paying by check, please indicate levels of membership via an email directly to Emma and Zak (example: Unique University: 1 Primary member and 1 Tier 2 member: $450.00) This helps the board from guessing membership levels based on a check amount. Checks avoid a credit card transaction fee included below.
